About the presenter

Jay Palmer is currently the Director of Market Development for ClearH2O. With over 25 years of experience in the laboratory animal market, Jay has held key positions in R&D, technical services, and product development with specific focus on the hydration and nutritional supplementation requirements of animals to improve their health and welfare. Jay is co-author of several patents for technological developments in gel delivery formulations with application across all animal species. Of most relevance are Jay’s contributions to the development of hydration supplement products that are required by all of the leading laboratory animal and commercial poultry genetics companies during transportation on a global basis. Jay has a bachelor’s degree in biology and biochemistry from the University of Southern Maine and master’s in biotechnology with a focus on molecular & cellular biology from Johns Hopkins University.
