NZ Exports Temporarily Suspended
Important Update for New Zealand Equine Exports
In light of a recent suspected case of a disease not previously known in New Zealand’s horse population, the Ministry for Primary Industries have made the decision to suspend all New Zealand equine exports to Australia.
This suspension will be in place until a new protocol agreement is reached with Australian authorities and is effective immediately.
We would like to reassure you that IRT are working closely with New Zealand and Australian government officials to reach a swift resolution so exports can resume with limited disruptions.
We will be sure to keep you updated as we gain further insight into this precautionary restriction that we are currently facing.
