Good news from Turkish Cargo

• Firstly, I’m very glad to let you know that embargo on transit AVI shipments in force was lifted yesterday. So, we can resume on supporting IPATA family in transit AVI transportation.
  • The arrival station (country/station) embargoes as well as any additional restrictions imposed under Covid-19 should be checked and transport should be carried out after all requirements are met.
  • The embargo on AVI shipments destined to Turkey (with final destination TR) is still in force. (excluding chicks, horses, sheep & goats and cattle).

• Secondly, we are the first air cargo brand that hold the 3 IATA CEIV (Center of Excellence for Independent Validators) certificates; CEIV Live Animal, CEIV Fresh and CEIV Pharma. The certifications, which are valid for a three-year period, reflect Turkish Cargo’s capability of handling pharmaceutical cargo, perishables and live animals at its facilities and on its flights, to IATA’s standards.
