In response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, the French Authorities have put a new temporary requirement in place for anyone travelling to France after 6th April 2020.
In order to curb non-essential travel, all those driving to France, including freight operators moving sanitary and phytosanitary products such as animals, products of animal origin, plants and plant products, must from now on complete an ‘International Attestation’ form to confirm that their journey meets the criteria for ‘essential travel’. Along with a completed ‘International Attestation’ all travellers will be required to provide supporting documents. If you are a transporter of goods, you will require:
- A certificate from your employer
- A document that shows where the goods are being delivered
