From: Ross Hayes, , City of London-Heathrow Animal Reception Centre.

Dear Colleague, following correspondence with airlines the management team has made some important decisions regarding our operation for the forthcoming weeks and months. The highest levels of animal welfare are our top priority, this is in conjunction with ensuring compliance and maintaining customer service levels. Due to the high levels of uncertainty we have taken the difficult decision not to accept ANY AVI shipments (import/export or transit) from FRIDAY EVENINGS (22:00) UNTIL MONDAY MORNING (06:00) until further notice. This will begin at 22:00 on FRIDAY 27th of MARCH.

PLEASE NOTE: This is for all AVI including un-recognised assistance animals/ESAs that travel in the passenger cabin.

Please share this information with your relevant networks as you see fit.

We will endeavour to update you each Friday for the forthcoming weekends operation (i.e. Friday 27th March for the weekend of the 4th/5th April)

Thank you for your cooperation

The Heathrow Animal Reception Centre Team
