Animal Transportation Association Gets Moving on Plans for 48th Conference in Mexico
Return of annual in-person event is welcome news to members and industry
The Animal Transportation Association (ATA) is pleased to announce its 2022 annual conference to be held in Merida, Mexico on March 14-16.
With a unifying theme of ‘Together towards tomorrow in transportation’ the three-day event will focus on industry potential, networking, and collaborative opportunities.
“This is a signature ATA gathering that everyone looks forward to each year and it will not disappoint,” says Alberto Torres, President of ATA. “Our agenda is packed with knowledgeable and engaging world class speakers who will inspire much thought and discussion.”
The decision to hold the event in-person was made after consultation with ATA board members who voted to move forward with the gathering in March 2022. Recognizing the evolving COVID-19 landscape, ATA is working closely with the venue to mitigate risks as they follow strict health and safety protocols.
“We are optimistic about the progress on vaccine uptake and are looking forward to connecting with our members in this unmatched tropical setting,” adds Torres. “It’s been a long time coming and we certainly are pleased to have the support of our valued industry partners and generous sponsors.”
With the event still four months away, there are still plenty of opportunities to get involved and join major contributors like Etihad Cargo at the table.
“We were delighted to receive the invitation to provide support as a conference sponsor once again,” says Martin Drew, SVP Sales and Cargo at Etihad Aviation Group. “This forum always allows us to connect with key partners and learn more about the needs of our global customers. It is our pleasure to be able to facilitate the ATA’s great work.”
